Regional Sales Manager (Senior Sales)
Location: Ohio; Dayton or Cincinnati preferred.
Responsible for daily face to face agent/broker sales calls for the individual senior sales 65 market segments. Develops and implements sales strategies, and utilizes multiple selling techniques to acquire new medical and specialty business through agents/brokers. Effectively utilizes face to face interaction, as well as increasing agent co-op marketing utilization via multiple advertising venues. Conducts monthly agent/broker training seminars and assists agents in the development of marketing plans and lead acquisition including, but not limited to agent websites, quoting engines and e-mail marketing (drip marketing). Maintains a strong field presence and builds relationships within the healthcare industry. |

Skills:
|
| * Requires 5 years of field insurance sales experience; selling individual health insurance through external agents and brokers is preferred.* Active Life and Health Insurance license in good standing required. * A bachelor's degree is preferred.* Priorcarrier and territory management experience is preferred.* Self-starter, excellent communications skills, including public speaking, high activity pattern, substantial organizational skills, the ability to interact effectively and work with various home office personnel required.* Strong knowledge of the senior market segments including Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription drug programs required;Minimum 2 years experience with Medicare products highly preferred. * Strong computer skills including MS Office and agent website development and marketing are a plus. * Experience working within the agent/broker community highly preferred. * Candidates should live and work in geographic location of area covered.
