Job Title: Trainer and Standardized Client Coordinator

Job description:
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Trainer and Standardized Client Coordinator for the Mechanicsburg Child Welfare Training Programs.


The Trainer and Standardized Client Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, development, and maintenance of trainers, consultants, and standardized clients for the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center (Resource Center). These tasks include coordinating the trainer, consultant, and standardized client onboarding process, writing and managing ongoing correspondence with them, tracking their participation in professional development opportunities, and observing and evaluating their delivery of the products and services. The Trainer and Standardized Client Coordinator also assists with the periodic revision of curriculum and functions as a team member of the Curriculum and Trainer Development Department.

Completion of a Bachelor's degree in training and development, adult education, child education, human service, or related field is required.A minimum of three years of experience in organizational coordination, managing people, and writing is required. Child welfare experience is preferred.

Must have knowledge, experience, and skills in recruiting, developing, supporting, and monitoring trainers and consultants and demonstrable strong writing, research, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to adhere to strict timelines and comply with identified standards is required.

Must also possess excellent interpersonal, computer, customer service, problem analyzing, and problem-solving skills. The ability to collaborate and cooperate with diverse individuals, agencies, and organizations is also required.

A valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the state is required.Must have demonstrative proficiency in the use of research tools including online, library loan, and various data bases. A successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to facilitate and participate positively and collaboratively in teams at all levels of an internal organizational structure and with external stakeholders; provide and receive supervision and feedback in a strength-based and constructive manner; coach and motivate trainers and consultants and colleagues at all levels of an organizational structure; recognize, respect, support, and demonstrate Resource Center's mission, vision, and values; and provide constructive and strength-based recommendations for improvement; engage in and support the professional development of self, trainers, consultants, and colleagues; and effectively facilitate and present information in large and small groups.

PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of employment.
