FLSA Status: Exempt – Salary
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
Ale-8-One is seeking an energetic, experienced, sales focused leader to drive sales in a regional territory. The Conventional Route Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of six or more Conventional Route Sales Drivers, each with an assigned territory, working closely with them to deliver sales target volumes and service objectives. Qualified individuals will have experience in route sales, maintain an active Class B CDL, and have knowledge of and experience with DOT regulations. Successful individuals will on-board, train, lead, and motivate the sales team, foster a culture of safety, including all added safety measures for COVID-19, create and oversee sales plans and strategies to effectively deliver sales results, and achieve outstanding service levels.

Essential Functions of the Position:
•SAFETY: Foster an atmosphere where safety is a priority. Job number one is keeping our employees and the public safe.
•SALES: Build a strong sales team, acting as player/coach, teaching route salespeople how to identify and capitalize on opportunities, and how to execute sales priorities. Take the lead on sales with independent, small chains. Oversee the successful execution of new product launches, new stores, and new territories.
•SERVICE: Ensure superior customer service & foster a customer service environment.
•LEADERSHIP: Lead, develop and mentor a Sales Delivery group to achieve a high performance, team-oriented, respectful environment.
•QUALITY: Train and monitor proper rotation procedures to ensure our consumers can always enjoy the highest quality experience.
•ANALYTICS: Improve and monitor Sales delivery indicators. Utilize available tools (Route Tools, RAM, etc.) to evaluate and identify routing efficiency opportunities, appropriate service levels, and sales opportunities.
•SUPERVISION: Consistently follow up through route rides and store audits to ensure that company quality, merchandising, POS, and Look of Success standards are met. Take the lead in recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing an excellent team. Review every direct report at least annually, recommending bonus levels, and providing coaching as needed throughout the year.

Position Requirements:
•4-5 years Direct Store Delivery experience
•Retail sales experience (in both large and small store format preferred)
•Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•Valid Class B Driver’s License, ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and maintain a safe driving record
•Class B driving experience
•Must be at least 21 years of age
•Strong, self-directed organization and planning capabilities
•Strong analytical skills
•Excellent negotiation skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation development skills
•Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
•Day travel on a consistent basis within the core market and other areas as needed
•Flexible approach to work environment as Ale-8-One is experiencing growth, which requires employees to wear multiple hats and take on new responsibilities as the business requirements demand

•Work schedule requires flexibility, including covering early mornings, later evenings, weekends and holidays when required, in rotation with the Sales Supervisors team
•Perform frequent standing, walking, and driving with some bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and overhead reaching as well as periodic lifting of 50 lbs. and pushing / pulling full pallets of product
•Adhere to all safety guidelines, including COVID-19 Safety Measures and comply with PPE requirements
