Job description:
The Bear Logistics Account Manager Trainee Program is designed to develop and educate dynamic high-energy college graduates and those with experience that either are new to the transportation industry or do not have a background in transportation. As an Logistics Account Manager you are an inside sales representative that will acquire, develop and maintain customer accounts. Our unique sales training and mentorship program will enhance your people and management skills to develop and maintain clients. The program will give you the tools to succeed and prepare you for becoming a transportation broker with career growth and future management positions. The educational part of the program includes:

Two-week intensive period with the company trainer to introduce you to the basics of the transportation industry
Six to eight weeks working side by side with our top three brokers to develop the necessary tools to sell in transportation
Six-week fundamentals of sales course based on the principles of Dale Carnegie
Study and examination of the Certified Transportation Broker exam given by the TIA
The program also includes:

Excellent earning potential – you should be on track to make $100,000 plus within 24 to 30 months – the more you sell the more you make!
Salary to start, move to Commission when ready
Comprehensive training and mentoring
Career advancement opportunities: division manager
Support staff to assist with account management as your sales grow
Skills:
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

Solutions oriented selling and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills - articulate
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow through until the job is completely done
PC and Internet literate
Bachelor's degree: Logistics, Marketing, or Business preferred
Language requirements: English
