Job description:
illy North America is hiring a Head of eComm Sales Operations. This newly created role is responsible for the strategic business planning, and sales forecasting for all digital channels, and drives revenue initiatives across various digital channels.
As the Head of eComm Sales Operations, you'll work with a variety of stakeholders from Digital Marketing, Supply Chain, Product, Marketing/Brand, and Finance, to assess business performance, optimize revenue strategy, pricing opportunity, deploy CPG product portfolio optimization across channels (third-party partners and illy.com).
You will be a trusted advisor to VP of Digital and the wider executive team, focus on strategic planning, digital sales optimization, margin improvement initiatives, and business operational support. Examples of projects include go to market strategy planning for a new product, review of our product portfolio and pricing across digital sales channels, data quality, market segmentation, and marketing spending optimization.
We are looking for a highly passionate candidate, who has relentless curiosity, a start-up mindset, attention to detail, willingness to dive deep into our vertically integrated coffee business.
Responsibilities
        Manage the North American demand forecast, consolidating inputs from internal and external data sources, sharing consolidated demand forecast with cross-functional partners, and speaking to business drivers of forecast changes
        Understand, interpret, and visualize business performance and changing market trends for presenting out to internal management, regional counterparts, and key stakeholders
        Create visibility into the digital revenue funnel across all revenue channels
        Conduct analysis on sales and digital campaign effectiveness by visualizing
        Connecting the data insights from multiple data sources, internal and external
        You will manage the consolidated weekly/monthly/annual demand forecast, working closely with regional counterparts to understand demand drivers and changes to forecast
        Interpret market data to collaborate with Product Planning on market sizing across new and existing markets/products. Play an important role in the annual planning process, helping set annual and quarterly goals for each product category.
        Collaborate with Supply in times of product constraints (shortages) to mitigate business impact
        Lead ad hoc analysis projects to understand market trends, performance trends, or support the preparation of business reviews to provide actionable insights to Leadership
        Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface, propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes
        Define key performance metrics and targets, create reports and dashboards to derive improvement recommendation to leadership
        Create executive level reporting and presentations for monthly and quarterly business reviews
Qualifications
        Bachelor's degree in quantitative business or related field, post-graduate degree (MBA) preferred
        Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, demand forecasting, supply planning, consulting, or finance.
        Experience in Forecasting, Demand planning, Financial Modeling, or Analytics
        Experience building analysis and/or data visualizations in spreadsheets, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytical package, SQL
        Experience with R, Python
        Ability to tolerate ambiguity and ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
        Influencing decisions and change management through collaboration, horizontal leadership
        Experience in quantitative analysis and financial modeling
        Excellent excel and ppt skills
        A deep understanding of operational processes, systems, and data, end to end across sales operations (forecasting, product portfolio and pipeline management, revenue performance, pricing strategy)
        Proven track record of problems solving through data-driven analytics delivering short, mid-, and long-term revenue goals
        Strong communication skills, written & verbal with the ability to filter and distill relevant information for various levels within an organization
